The temple is situated about 6 km from Koduvayur Junction. One can reach temple by car, access road is available. Bus route koduvayur to Pallasenna via kakkayur.If travel by bus have to get down on the main road and walk about 1.5 km to temple.
Muringamala Devi Temple is also known as Muthassi Bhagavati temple. Muringamala vela is celebrated here every year. This year kumbabhishekam of the temple is celebrating now with tremendous programs. Very coordination among commitee is seen here. Even though the place is situated very inner, good crowd is seen for various programs.
കൊടുവായൂർ ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 6 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രം. നമുക്ക് കാറിൽ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്താം, പ്രവേശന റോഡ് ലഭ്യമാണ്. കാക്കയൂർ വഴി കൊടുവായൂരിൽ നിന്ന് പല്ലസെന്നയിലേക്കുള്ള ബസ് റൂട്ട്. ബസിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്താൽ മെയിൻ റോഡിൽ ഇറങ്ങി ഒന്നര കിലോമീറ്റർ നടന്ന് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക് പോകണം.
മുരിങ്ങമല ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം മുത്തശ്ശി ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. എല്ലാ വർഷവും ഇവിടെ മുരിങ്ങമല വേല ആഘോഷിക്കാറുണ്ട്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഈ വർഷത്തെ കുംഭാഭിഷേകം വിപുലമായ പരിപാടികളോടെയാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. കമ്മിറ്റികൾക്കിടയിൽ വളരെ ഏകോപനമാണ് ഇവിടെ കാണുന്നത്. വളരെ ഉൾപ്രദേശത്താണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നതെങ്കിലും വിവിധ പരിപാടികൾക്ക് നല്ല തിരക്കാണ് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നത്.
