Puyam Nakshatra in the month of Makara ends the seven-day festival with Arat. Upadevata temples are located near the main temple of Lord Shiva and navagrahangal. Ganapati, Sastav, Bhadrakali, Sri Parvati and Sitasametha Sri Rama are placed around the shrine. Brahmarakshas, Hitumban and Nagas are located on the Pradakshina path. There are special poojas for all shashtis and ayilyas.
