The temple situated at Chengara in Pathanamthitta district. There is a comforting glow to light the way to escape from life's failures and to move forward with courage. This is the Chengara Anjaneya Swamy Temple. None of the devotees who arrive here return disappointed. The Tantri of this temple is Brahmashree S.Manoj Sharma is also an astrologer, good doctors treat patients as if they were inquiring about the problems of the devotees. Although there is a daily pooja, the Karyasiddhi Pooja on Saturday attracts the most devotees.
The main deity of the temple is Hanuman Swamy. Offerings Devotees offer offerings such as Vettila Mala, Venna Nivedhyam,Kadhalippazham, Vada, Mottumala, Thrimadhuram, Avalkuzhachathu, Naranga mala, Chethi poomala, Chethu karikupuja, Thamaramottu, etc. to the Swami.
Ganapati Homa, Purusha Suktham, Bhagyasuktham, Srisuktham, Vishnu Suktham, Ayur Suktham and Mrityusuktham are included in the Karyasiddhi Pooja. Wealth, Udyogalabdhi, Mangalya Karyasiddhi, Family Conflict Prevention Pooja, Vidyagopalam, Santhanagopalam, Mrityunjaya Homa, Dhanvantari Homa, etc. are conducted. Paal Payasam , Sharkkara Payasam and Aval kuzhchathu are served with pleasure.
Vedic mantras are performed every Saturday and Ekadashi, Pournami, Shivratri, Hanuman Jayanti, Ramayana and Mandala Chirappu festivals are celebrated. Every day during the month of Karkataka, unlike other temples, there is a distribution of medicinal porridge with medicines, fruits, tubers, pulses and various types of herbs.
